04/07/07 - DRF/NTRA NHC Qualifier

Arlington Park and its affiliated network of Illinois Trackside OTB facilities will offer handicappers from throughout the Midwest and nationwide two chances to qualify for the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC) to be held in Las Vegas in January 2008. Each Arlington-sponsored tournament will offer cash prizes as well as three berths into the national tournament, which in 2007 offered more than $800,000 in prize money.

04/24/07 - Chef's Fest

Chef's Fest is a food and beverage sampling event. The public will meet over 60 restaurateurs and attraction members. Additional attractions include cooking and flower demonstrations, prize giveaways, raffles and free menu guides.

07/21/07 - Million Preview Day

Watch and wager on Saturday, July 21, as contenders for the Arlington Million and International Festival of Racing compete on Million Preview Day at Arlington Park. Turf stars hoping for a starting berth in the Million race in the Arlington Handicap while fillies and mares hoping to start in the Beverly D. vie in the Modesty Handicap. Three-year-old turf stars prep for the Secretariat Stakes in the American Derby.

The distaff set takes the spotlight in the first Ladies Day on Saturday, September 8, featuring three graded stakes races for fillies and mares --- the Grade III $150,000 Arlington Matron for older fillies and mares at a mile and an eighth on the main track, the Grade III $200,00 Pucker Up Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at a mile and an eighth on the turf and the Grade III $150,000 Arlington-Washington Breeders' Cup Lassie for 2-year-old fillies.
